    Dividends cannot be declared in IPO.
    It is cent percent correct.

    You don’t seem to understand what a share or a dividend is ..

    Ordinary Shares entitle the holder to the dividend .. to get the dividend you buy the share (as opposed to ‘buying’ the dividend ..)

    PS Various classes of shares do exist .. I guess a Company COULD issue ‘zero dividend’ shares in an IPO, however I can’t see that being too popular with the investors ..)

    divident is the amount given by the compant to its existing shareholders in liue of amount invested by them. It is totally TAX frre in India and can not be offered to the public.(IPO)
