What should I include in the “exit strategy” section of a business plan?

Oliver asks:
I’m need to develop an exit strategy regarding being acquired rather than an IPO, but I’m a geek — not a finance person. What should I include to keep from looking like a total boob?

I have been reading a book entitled “Angel Investing” by Mark Van Osnabrugge and Robert J. Robinson, but it doesn’t clearly state what to include.
I should add that the business is in a very early stage, ie no product or revenues.
Advice on VISA IPO?

Fay asks:
I missed the boat on big IPO’s like Amazon, Yahoo, Google and the likes. VISA is geared to go public sometime next year.
MC started at 40.30 and is now 215.46. Would it be good advise to put some money into it, long term. Since I am new to this - on line trading, is it as good as having a broker.
Thanks in advance for all advice.

if a company has a history of declining income should I invest?

Adalberto asks:
I am thinking about investing into a company that’s in it’s IPO stage. I checked out their records and it shows a trend of declining income. The company currently has 231 share holders and has no venture capital. (I was told that the CEO has invested all of his own money into the company). Is this a wise investment choice? Of course they make it souund like the potential to make a lot of money is very high. It’s an internet company and it already has the website in existence.
