IPO
Carlee asks:

Does anyone know what time the IPO of China Digital TV Holdings will start trading on friday?

If not do all IPOs start at a random time?

*and do you think it’s going to rocket like the rest of the China stocks lately?

I wouldn’t buy anything Chinese right now, Former Fed Chief Alan Greenspan says that the bubble is getting huge in china and he thinks it is about to break. Many of the people on CNBC agree with this analysis including the legendary Jim Cramer

From past experiences IPO’s begin trading in th early morning between 30 minutes to 2 hours after the bell.

Market is a bit in a bubble because too much money is chasing few stocks. (Asian people save a higher % of their income compared with Americans) The market will go into equilibrium as Chinese IPO offerings accelerate in the next few years. Nevertheless the companies with solid management and good business plans have huge upside potential as long as economic reforms are maintained.
