If you have over $100,000 in accounts with Fidelity Investments you can sign up for IPO alerts.

You’ll just have to wait until they’re publicly listed. Usually, the big brokerages get the best price on IPOs. Also, depending on the IPO, once the excitement levels off, the price usually does as well.

Just a side note here: you may want to do some online research about the hazards of buying IPOs. Typically, their performance can be much worse than the market. Google is an exception, not the rule. You need to be careful.

IPOs, if they are of any popularity are allocated to the managing brokerage firms best customers. You can call your brokerage firm and ask. That is about your only option.

As a rule, you are better off buying them in the aftermarket. You just have to wait till the pop is over. You won’t be able to buy into the pop unless you are a millionaire.

You can purchase an IPO 2 ways, either wait for it to come public and buy in the open market or you can buy it directly from the underwriter or broker/dealer before it comes public. The problem with the second way is that the shares of the IPO are usually reserved for the best clients of the broker/dealer.
