    Yes

    You can transfer the transfer the shares

    you have to condact your share brokers.

    They will advice to you.

    The shares will be allotted in the Demat of your friends in his name. The records can be changed through the registerar, however it is not much beneficial in case of value below Rs. 1 lakhs. I may be a costly and time consuming process.

    I suggest you to follow the second option if you have enough time.

    Re-Materalise your shares into physical form. The application request may be made through your friend’s broker (ICICI Direct, Indiabulls, India Infoline etc.)

    After getting the shares in physical form, apply for de-materialisation through your broker.

    This way you will get all your shares transfered.

    The easiest method according to me is sell the shares from your friend’s account and purchase them on same price from your account. This process does not mean that you will purchase shares from your friend, but you will get the same way like transfer.

    I have told you all the possibilities.
