    I hope not. Paying dividends means that the company is not reinvesting in itself for growth.

    They may decide to just to avoid looking bad next to Mastercard, which pays 0.3%

    I believe that the expected dividend is roughly .47 per share, per the proscpectus. I would imagine that you can find the prospectus on line by now at the Visa web site.
