Should I invest $1000.00 in Sirius Satellite Radio or wait for the Visa IPO?

I have $1000.00 to invest. I already own 150 shares of Sirius. Should I buy more or wait a while for Visa to go public and invest all $1000.00 into them. I am kinda leaning towards Visa right now, but Sirius is looking very tempting with their merger with XM radio almost certain.

If you can get in the ground floor of the IPO, go for it. But there is risk involved in either strategy. You have to be willing to lose most of your money if not all when investing in a single stock.
If you are just starting out in investing, look into mutual funds which are a basket of a lot of different stocks. It will give you diversification from any single issue.
You can find a mutual fund to invest in just about anything.
