I know nothing about stocks, so use simple terms. But an up and coming company that I’m a customer of has asked me if I want to buy 100 to 5,000 shares. I’m struggling financially but I really believe in this company. Should I invest? Can I re-sell my stocks that day? Will it be hard to contact someone with the “limited purpose brokerage account” I’ll be set up with? I’m thinking once they open everybody is going to go nuts and buy their stock. Does that happen? I don’t know how this process works at all. Thank you for your thoughtful advice.

If companies only make money from stocks during IPO, why do they go bankrupt when the stock price drops? I can’t make the connection.

If a company offers 15% off IPO to their 20,000 inestors, and the investors are limited to get only 100 shares, thats a total of 2,000,000 stocks at -15%. off IPO. will this do any dmg to the companys stock? also how many stocks can company sell up to?

Equity can either be private or public and these terms are often used in the press. In the transition from the former to the latter there is typically an IPO. Public equity is also known as stocks or shares.

I have been advised that a stock is going to IPO this month,somthin bout several co.’s forming a conglomerate, then offering stock shares 4 many X’s the value as long as you buy in before the IPO.buyin lots of pennystock, whats that gonna do 4 me when it IPO’s?
