The Visa stock will be available to the public probably the last week of March (on Tuesday). You’ll here the exact day as it gets closer.
The Visa stock will not take off like Mastercards because of the economy and lingering lawsuits they have. It will take about a year or so before it doubles, triples, or quadruples.
Visa’s taken some steps with regards to the lawsuits. They’ve set aside almost $3 billion to cover existing legal actions. So there should be a cushion for investors.
There’s constantly people here talking about Visa, so I’m guessing there’s a lot who think it will go the same direction as MasterCard.
