Word on the financial markets is that “V” will launch by February ‘08, although I’ve heard that it may debut as soon as mid-January. Knowing how well “MA” has done in a year and a half, what is your forecast as to how well “V” will do for the long term growth for someone’s portfolio?

My answer and 25 cents will buy you a cup of coffee… but I bought MA at 60. I’ll buy Visa ASAP and may get a piece of the IPO price. I see upside potential. I’ll be buying and hope others overlook it initially!
V should easily jump 100% plus ..in the first few days. With the track record of MA people will be screaming to get in this one!
Long term it will match the growth of Mastercard… but the real jump will be that first day…if you can get a larger than normal buy in on that day, you can sell about half in the next few days and own what you have left for ” nothing”…great spot to be in!!
