A blank check company means that the company has NO ASSETS. It is raising capital to buy assets and investments.

Blank check companies are strictly in a planning stage…no assets, few employees, no particular business plan…looking more to raise capital for acquisitions… strictly hoping they can run whatever they acquire at a better profit than current management. ( You need a lot of faith to buy into THAT IPO !)
If you can get part of Visa early…you will certainly run up a quick gain… but everybody KNOWS that… it may sell off very quickly with profit takers in a couple of days…so make your mind up now : take the quick gain when it comes…or ride the volatility for a while because it should be a long- term ” keeper”. ( Always nice to have a plan.)
