You will come to know if shares are allotted to you when they will come in your demat account. Normally the process takes 15 days.
Expected allotment date of Reliance Power shares is 30th January 2008. In the first week of feb 2008 they will be listed in stock market.
If you have applied in retail category and if your application is of Rs. 1 lakh (maximum) then you will get approximately 15 shares on allotment.
Once listed in stock exchange you can start trading if you want to.
